Important Note

Although the Barbarians were described to us as going into battle "NAKED", for the sake of any children viewing this site, all Barbarians will be depicted in a Tanktop and Lycra Gym Shorts.

GUEST BOOK

FIRST ADVENTURE

GM: Bob West

Start Time: Friday 6:00 pm
Stop Time: Saturday 2:30 am

PARTY

Fi'Dolla Ho - Human Cleric (RIP)
Smacka Ho - Human Cleric (RIP)
Heave Ho - Halfling Hero
Tally Ho - Elf Guardian
Ho Ho - Fey Mage (RIP)
Krack Ho - Human Hero
Emerald - Elf Hero (RIP)
Bandobras - Halfling Hero
Kaltrix - Human Mage (RIP)

Our adventure started off poorly when it was discovered that several people wished to be leader of the outing. The Elves didn't want the Humans in charge, the Humans didn't want the Elves in charge, and nobody wanted the Halflings in charge. One member of the party that was new to our group didn't appreciate the procedure in which we vote for leaders. Mainly through Head Rubs and Arm Burns. Fi'Dolla was eventually named leader.

Here is Smacka, our vice-leader, and Heave riding out on their horses. We were told our task in this adventure was to find a patrol that went missing several days ago. I later learned (at the end of Prince Con) that our GM, Bob West, stylized this scenerio after "Saving Private Ryan" although it seemed more to mirror "Charge of the Light Brigade".

Ho Ho, who was on night watch while we camped, noticed a disturbance in a nearby tree. Not expecting a tree to act in such a fashion, Ho Ho viciously attacks it with a web spell which completely immobilizes and angers a squirrel. We had to listen to the squirrel's chiding for hours after that. The tree did not suffer any ill effects.

Emerald the Elf Hero/Ranger had to investigate the Puma that was seen near the camp. She followed it left. She followed it right. She headed up mountains and through the woods. The Hos were getting sick and tired of the attention this Puma was receiving so we had the party move on. Unfortunatley, Emerald was correct in her assumption that the Puma was an evil Cleric and was shadowing us.

I am still fuzzy on the exact reason, maybe just because he could, Smacka the cleric changed Heave the Archer into a wolf. The silly thing is Heave agreed to it. Needless to say that when the battle finally arrived, Heave couldn't even defend himself let alone attack anyone. He stacked his Missle Attack so high that it was twice his Melee Attack. In hobbit form, it was better for him to use a Short Bow in close quarter combat than a Short Sword. As a wolf, he was utterly useless.

Bandobras the Halfling Hero could change into a Crocodile whenever he wished. He wished it when combat first arrived. Unfortunately, the combat took on a running form that crossed several hills and into the woods. Crocodiles, although strong and very tough, are not know for their running ability. Where ever the battle was, Bandobras wasn't.

During the ensuing battle, the Barbarians took off in a rout with Heave, Emerald, and Fi'Dolla hot on their heels. Fi'Dolla tried to take one of the Barbarians down by grappling him from his horse. He lept so badly from his horse (leaf eating clerics are not known for their horsemanship) that he missed the Barbarian altogether and took damage on the landing.

After Emerald, Fi'Dolla and Ho Ho were butchered in the ambush, Tally, the Elf Guardian, decided to get while the gett'en was good. It wasn't good. While trying a flying escape, Tally was shot down like so much skeet. He still somehow survived this adventure.

With only Smacka and Krack still fighting more than 10 Barbarians, Kaltrix the Mage holds off two Barbarians with Flaming Oil and 1 Health Point for two rounds. He should be chronicled in the Hall of Leos for his feats of bravery and stamina.

Now with Krack bearly able to stand, Tally unconcious, and Heave already sitting in a bar in town, Bandobras arrives on the scene and goes through Barbarians like Rosie O'Donnell through a smorgasbord.

SECOND ADVENTURE

GM: Tim Oliver

Start Time: Saturday 12:30 pm
Stop Time: Saturday 8:00 pm

PARTY

A Ho - Human Cleric (RIP)
Stank Ho - Human Cleric
Heave Ho - Halfling Hero
Tally Ho - Elf Guardian
Gung Ho - Fey Mage
Krack Ho - Human Hero
Guido - Elf Guardian

Our main mission in this adventure was to find a group of Evil Clerics and kill them. (My kind of mission) We snuck into the woods, camped out for the evening, and let the fur fly at the crack of dawn. This image actually pertains to the last moments of the battle (I'll have to get more in here later) when Stank (who had turned himself into a Lion at the beginning of the fight) and Heave needed to get the escaping Evil Clerics. They proved to be a very effective team.

THIRD ADVENTURE

GM: York Dobyns

Start Time: Sunday 1:20 am
Stop Time: Sunday 4:10 am

PARTY

Yura Ho - Human Cleric
Stank Ho - Human Cleric
Heave Ho - Halfling Hero
Tally Ho - Elf Guardian (RIP)
Gung Ho - Fey Mage
Krack Ho - Human Hero

This next adventure seemed even simpler than the last. All we had to do was follow the map to the Evil Vampire and kill him. Wow! Just kill one guy? How hard could that be? Well, first we had to get there. Fortunately, we were supplied with a Box of Carrying (to put the other people in), 40 League Boots (I hope he's only 40 leagues away!) and flying scouts to lead the way. For some reason, no one wanted to wear the boots so it was foisted onto the Hobbit. (the disadvantage of being the smallest person in the party who can't fly.)

I thought it was silly to have a small hobbit come racing up to an angry and powerful Vampire and then suddenly have 5 Humanoids suddenly jump out of a box. And here's the image.

One of the two main difficulties in fighting and Evil Powerful Vampire is that he continually takes over important members of the party and sets them on each other. (the other is power drain but you knew that already) Here, the jerk has taken over Heave and set him attacking Tally the Guardian Elf. Heave happened to fire so poorly that the arrow missed Tally and actually hit the Vampire. Unfortunatley, for next three rounds he shot perfectly and Tally went where all good Ho's go when they die..
